It was not that long ago that we were all talking about the future of marketing would be social media networking, and with the speed of a broadband connection that future is here already.

Here at Enigin we soon realised the full power of the internet and have built much of our business on web based communications and support - but social media marketing had not really launched until after we started.

The Copenhagen Climate Change Summit….What does it mean for Enigin and your Energy Saving Business?

Unless you have been in a deep sleep for the last 4 weeks, you will know a major event has been taking place in Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen. It is something that has really excited us here at Enigin.

 

You’ve guessed it…….The UN Climate Change Conference.

 

World leaders have descended on the city with one clear aim, to reduce carbon emissions in order to help fight Climate Change. With countries like the UK, United States, China, Japan and many others confirming their commitment to fighting this massive problem, the future is looking very bright for organisations that operate within the Energy Saving industry especially if your working with Enigin.

 

So what does this mean for owners of an Energy Saving Business? Well it’s simple really…. John Cridland from the Confederation of British Industry believes that businesses are critical to the success of significantly reducing emissions. He says:

 

“After all, it will be business that delivers the new infrastructure and develops the products and services needed for the shift to a low-carbon economy”

 

This is fantastic news! Once leaders confirm what the targets are, the only way that organisations across the globe are going to be able to comply with them, is implementing Energy Saving initiatives to massively reduce their Carbon output. So guys…..there has never been a better moment to be involved in this sector. Success in life is often about timing and it’s very rare the right opportunity at just the right time comes along! So sit up and listen, the moment has never been better, Energy Efficiency are the words on everyone’s lips at the moment and demand for Energy Saving solutions is going through the roof, and at Enigin we are testiment to that.  

Remember, ‘Energy Saving is the opportunity of our age’. Organisations are crying out for ways to dramatically cut costs and reduce emissions. This demand, let me tell you is not going to go away, it’s going to continue to increase, and increase at an astronomical rate.

That is not quite true here at Enigin, but the two factors are very important. Our aim is to offer innovative solutions that help make a difference to businesses and organisations globally. How do we make a difference? By providing clients with cutting edge technology which can help them to significantly reduce their energy consumption.

 

How do end users out there know about Enigin and its products? Simple…… Marketing!

 

In today’s world, everywhere we look we are exposed to advertising. Whether it is newspapers, the television, the internet or other media, there is just no escaping it.

 

So why do organisations with a product or service to sell decide to promote it?

 

Quite simply to increase sales! I mean, if you don’t advertise your business you’re dead in the water; word of mouth will only get you so far!

 

Ok, why is it that some so called experts claim that marketing your business is a complete waste of time?

 

Well I say that is rubbish, here at Enigin marketing is the driver for the various business divisions within the company. If we were to pull the plug on our advertising, the company would grind to a halt, things would simply stop! I hope this illustrates the importance placed on promotion, as without it we don’t have a business, and your business is no different!

 

However, aggressive marketing is one thing, but your message is another important factor to consider. Enigin has built a successful business within a very competitive industry, simply by being different. Our message is a simple one “we profit with integrity”, we offer cutting edge solutions to businesses that can give them an opportunity to make substantial savings on their energy consumption. However we market them in our own way, we put the emphasis on surprise and delight.

 

By that I mean our marketing message doesn’t focus on savings, our emphasis lies with highlighting how the product benefits the customer. This way when a client starts to see significant savings they are usually very pleased, as there has not been a level of expectation set, so to under promise and over deliver is key to our success in the marketplace. Whatever industry you are in it is vital that you apply the same principles if you want to secure your position in the marketplace.
